Solar Clues: July 31 Explore Camp x QSDT Workshop

Updated: Aug 1, 2019

This Wednesday, July 31, the Queen's Explore campers put on their detective caps to help us find evidence of energy all around the solar house. We also talked about what energy is, and whether we can see, feel or hear it. Some of our favourite clues that we found were a pair of batteries, the hot deck, the fire alarm on the ceiling, and a mechanical crank.

Next, we took our detective skills outside to send the message about energy to our detective headquarters. In the process, we found out that transferring energy causes some energy to be lost!

Finally, we came back inside and played around with our fun SunWind Solar cars!
